What is your ‘style’?
We work discreetly and unobtrusively to capture the atmosphere and emotion of your wedding day without interference. This is often labelled as documentary, reportage or photojournalism. Click here to watch our slideshow for an insight into our approach on the wedding day.
What about posed photographs?
In addition to our documentary style of photography, we normally allow around 20 minutes for a handful of formal group shots, enough time for 5-8 groups although some clients will require less. We will also spend around 15-20 minutes to photograph some bride-and-groom portraits, casually posed around the reception venue.
Do you always work together?
Normally, yes, we have worked as a team for over 10 years although for small, intimate weddings or if you are working to a budget you may feel that a single photographer will suffice – we offer both options. Having 2 photographers on your wedding day can prove to be an enormous benefit in many situations. It means we can be in two places at the same time at the church and drinks reception, or provide two different viewpoints of the same scenario during the formals, bride-and-groom portraits and speeches. We are your eyes for the day and having two pairs means that we don’t miss much of the action! Please click here for more details and photographs.
Do you edit/retouch our wedding photographs?
Absolutely. Every image is individually assessed and sprinkled with our personal touch of Photoshop magic so they look fantastic. Our retouching is subtle and mostly used to enhance the original image, much like traditional darkroom hand-printing. Please click here for examples.
How soon will our photos be ready after the wedding?
Usually 2-3 weeks.
How long will our photos be available online?
Will You travel?
