What is your ‘style’?
We work discreetly and unobtrusively to capture the atmosphere and emotion of your wedding day without interference. This is often labelled as documentary, reportage or photojournalism. Click here to read about our recent awards and our thoughts about what wedding photojournalism means to us.
What about posed photographs?
In addition to our documentary style of photography, we normally allow around 20-30 minutes for a handful (approx 5-7) of formal group shots, although some clients will require less. We will also spend around 15-20 minutes to shoot some bride-and-groom portraits, casually posed around the reception venue.
Who will photograph my Wedding?
We (Oliver and Ruth) shoot every wedding together. We work as a team on the day, which means we can often be in two places at the same time. This can be particularly effective during the ceremony and speeches.
How many photographs do you take?
We normally end up with around 250 unique images from your day. This will vary depending on the length of coverage, quantity of guests etc. We much prefer to focus on quality over quantity.
Do you retouch our wedding photographs?
Absolutely. Every image is individually assessed and sprinkled with our personal touch of Photoshop magic so they look fantastic. Our retouching is subtle and mostly used to enhance the original image, much like traditional darkroom hand-printing.
How soon will our photos be ready after the wedding?
Usually 2-3 weeks.
How long will our photos be available online?
3 months.
What are your prices for wedding photography?
Packages are available from £2000 and include full day coverage by Oliver and Ruth from the bride’s preparations right through to the speeches. Please get in touch to check availability and receive full details.
Will You travel?
